Star your favorite messages and get karma
You can now record a star for messages that are important to you. If you hover over any of your messages from inside tgethr, you’ll see a star you and others in your group can click on.
Once clicked on, it will “glow” and the message will show you how many stars each message accumulates.
You can also star messages and any replies in a message thread right from an email.
So what’s the point of starring a message?
Two reasons right now:
1) Starred message have priority when searching for messages. So if you search for anything in tgethr we’ll show messages with stars higher in the results. So make sure you star important things you’d like to find easier.
2) Starring a message adds to people’s “karma” :) So what’s karma?
Tgethr is now recording karma for everyone. Right now you can gain karma from 2 things. Getting your messages starred by other people, and also you can get karma by creating messages that other people reply to.
Karma helps record and reward people who are collaborating well in your group.
You can see your karma by looking at your username in the top right of tgethr, or in any messages you get.
When you click on your name you’ll see some stats that make up your karma and other contributions you’ve made to your groups.
You’ll also see leaderboards of how everyone in your groups stack up according to the karma you all are generating.
